Well any ways the cardboard they ship eggs in to fast food restaurants is basically the perfect shape for absorbing sound. Professional sound booths have a similarly shaped foam they glue to the walls. A lot of stores will let have the cardboard for free.

I recently de lidded one and the stock cooler still works and and has plenty of tension when mounting that i can tell of, if the board is still good maybe i can post a temp read out... if it even has one.
