disk thrashing? sounds more like vista. i have not had any disk thrashing issues but, my flash drive seems buggy in w7 might me my all in 1 card reader causing it that or a bug in the os.

yes you probably did run it on a p3 the minimum requirments are 400 or 500 mhz cpu when i was younger are pc was an under clocked p2 and i had gta 3 on it even c&c renegade and it ran xp!!! man did that computer really suck sometimes, are pc guy had upgraded the ram and gfx card on it. i always crt …

rumor is a blakcjack 1 or 2 with a tweak version of playstation emulator pushed 10 fps on gta 3 keep in mind this is smart phone good for laughs. so even with a 512 9xxx nividia pci card it would lag because of the bus speed and the gfx would still limited to cpu correct?

yeah but, the compaq i had wouldn't come close to fitting a p3 board and iahd already doesn a nicie case theme besides a hopped up socket 7 would be great ro 95 or 98se and games like comand and conqure series and mybe gta 3 with really good pci gfx card 😀

yeah but, if your gonna stick with a socket 7 cpu i'm betting the fastest k6 even OCed to 600 if possible will be faster than the Pentium 1 that is in assuming it isn't a custom build like you guys have. and what i'm meaning is your wanting to play with a socket 7. i had an older socket 7 tower it …

i wouldn't know with digging in files control panel should have everything need from firewall exceptions and update manager to, to, to i don't know tons of stuff i guess try an RC version RC version are ultimate if you have any control issues i just use take owner ship for files thats the only thing …

there is this forum full of win 98 gurus with all kinds of thigns to speed it up and what not alot of it is unoffcial so it's a at your own risk thing but, for the most parts it works pretty well like rp9 or the win xo compatibility layer. http://www.msfn.org/board/windows-95-98-98se-me-f8.html

my water cooling system leaked sludge on my video card it wouldn't even quit it just bugged up made some really cool/weird artifacts i sitll use i just cleaned it off with rubbing alky and put in my now air cooled phenom machine.

just a side note there is mod called "take owner ship" wich was made for vista but also works on w7 at least on rc7100 that lets you take control of files if gives you admin crap assuming there is not some program using the file your trying move or rename or delete or whatever.

sure it isn't the monitor or lcd my lcd maintains the aspect ratio on older games like starcraft and what nit and puts black bars on the side wich i don't even notice.
