why are you using d-fend with scummvm? It already has a gui. And recent versions of scummvm won't allow a game to be called from command line unless the game was first added to the scummvm front end. This occurred to me previously, so i scoured to game box for information. Going by the box for the classics release, there is no notation of the aircraft that should be there if the NATO release is present. I'll definitely give it a shot though. That would explain the version numbering being off.

Another fun one! The CD version of Links: The Challenge errors out in the install after choosing the drive letter. Install crash states: Path not found in line 0 of module CDLINS at address 01A2:152C Debug states: Makename encountered an illegal char ▌ hex:Fe in C:\▌▌▌▌▌▌▌▌.▌▌▌ Any ideas?

It worked using a default conf. I went line by line and checked every setting, the only one I had different was memsize was set to 32 on mine and it was 16 on the default. Now it recognizes the sound and the game starts up great... however it tells me to put the cd-rom in the drive when i try to …

During the install of GT Racing 97 the sound setup screen allows 3 primary choices, Gravis Ultra Sound, Soundblaster, and None. My goal was to get it running without needing Win 3.1 as it runs perfectly fine without Windows. I suppose I could attempt an instal in win 3.1 and see if I can copy the config files it creates over to the dos folder and see if it will run with those.
