Good news guys! I finally got round to trying that card out. Installed it, installed the drivers that PCBONEZ linked and the card works just fine. Next I connected that Netgear Universal Wireless thing and Hey Presto I am Playing online Quake 2 death match! Great job guys! 😁

It was buggy to setup 😉 Works fine now. OK The realtek site doesnt appear to have the drivers, so i found this on this very forum: http://www.vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?file … &menustate=31,0 Just to doubly make sure, this will 100% work with this card right?

OK Just an update here guys. I decided to pull the trigger and i bought both the D-Link DFE-530TX AND that Netgear universal wireless thingy. I managed to find a UK one after i searched the model number and got better results and managed to snag one for £25

Oh yes, this is strictly for online gaming only (Quake, etc). And maybe just to download he odd small driver for it. Web browsing is not the plan! 😉

Amazing! Can only seem to find this device on US sites, and there is no other equivalent! 😳 Maybe i can buy one and use a 5v UK power supply. Anyone know of a decent PCI ethernet card that would work within Windows 98se and a Pentium 1? 🤣
