well a box of factory half-assembled cards will travel in the next days towards us and I just put an order for the brackets things took longer than expected and there were always delays but such is the state of the world now I guess... thanks all for the kind words of encouragement 😀

good that the CD AUDIO patch works I cannot promise though there will be a fix for all sound support for the game, it seems it is really weirdly programmed when it comes to sound

yeah mine is also like this, no wifi no emmc , 1GB so no issues ! and indeed they are hard and expensive to get now... all this chip shortage thing is annoying and I cannot really see an end to it soon... I am sure it will extend to 2023 as well 🙁

I can confirm CD audio gets muted by the game. Until you run it CD audio is fine. After you exit the game CD audio remains muted until you re-init the mixer. My guess is that the game tries to set a volume that CS4237 does not like and interprets in a way that the volume is muted. I gave MIDITO a …

unisound isn't quite there yet for CMI8330 chip , CMMIX has some other options too like SB MIXER EMULATION ON/OFF which I am not sure unisound enables or not - or if LOUDNESS option is turned OFF... but 3D is definitely not getting disabled with unisound When I made the recording I posted on the 1st …
