Re: MDA/CGA/EGA to VGA Converter Released!

If even with an older FW (ask dreamblaster which one he used) that means your blaster to blame. I did not have these issues with the previous firmwares (maybe I didn't write it clear enough), there was always a combo that it worked and produced a clean picture. This behavior started with the very …

Re: MDA/CGA/EGA to VGA Converter Released!

How do you make CGACAL use higher resolutions? I will flash the latest version in a little while :) Edit: I have updated to the latest version and concluded that only JIC files work for me. Remember all that hz deal with my monitor? Well after programming the JIC file I thought I'd see what the …

Re: Gravis Ultrasound MAX - Good or Bad?

Judging from this pic from the amoretro.de website http://www.amoretro.de/2012/06/gravis-ultrasound-max-rev-1-8.html http://i68.tinypic.com/bimoi1.jpg One needs a AS4C256K16 DRAM IC to reach 1MB and they are available on ebay for 8GBP here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282819934730 , that's what I …

I have updated the board twice …

Re: MDA/CGA/EGA to VGA Converter Released!

Re: MDA/CGA/EGA to VGA Converter Released!

But by the other hand what I need is a real 5152 monitor output for comparison. I'm not mimicking VGA colors but CGA ones. Well the people that made CGACAL have a shot on their page about what CGA colors should look like: http://www.oldskool.org/pc/cgacal , maybe this can serve as a fixed point? I …
