remove battery and plug into mains after a couple of mins, I don't remember for sure if there are any lcd settings but maybe the previous user tweaked them. Keep the battery off the unit so each power-on is a default state - best for gaming 😀

The ps2 hdds should just work. The original Xbox ones are a different story: Each Xbox uses a unique ATA HDD password to lock the drive , so you need to run unsigned code to that Xbox , unlock the drive ( or find the password in the bios and unlock it in a pc) and then you can use it like a normal …

peido's and my cards just have 256kb of vram, if all the sockets are populated then we get the max 1MB. This vga isn't a fast one AFAIR so personally I didn't bother maxing it out - or even use it 🤣
