Wow, thanks for posting about this!! As a youngster I had a gameboy (and still have it) , the most memorable music for me was the Super Mario games, the Castlevanias and Contras... (basically what I had back then...) but I admit I never thought about other soundtracks on it, seems I am missing out …

heh... the difference one "_" makes... you can always use OnTrack Disk Manager in the case you won't be able to update the BIOS... I have a retro K6-II laptop for my willem programmer, I find the DSTN screen to be a huge drawback... it's horrible!

tested in both games, Fl. Key Click is selected fine in the newer SC-55/MU80 and works perfect. As expected the older unit plays nothing on channel #11 with the patched .hog files. I would advice caution since you have no prior experience... since the components on the XR385 are surface mount ones , you can easily damage the pads they are soldered on. If you find someone with a little experience it's a 5seconds job. If you decide to do it your self get a 15-20W soldering iron …

^ yeo, that's what I have gathered too... I have the EU cd version and the EU floppy one. I very much prefer the floppy version due to the adlib music 😁 here's the eu cd version btw

there is also another difference... gog version has speech on the aird intro, my original release cd does not have it... plus the original cd flashes "Infogrames" at the bottom of the screen on the attic, the gog version flashes "Iumotion/Infogrames" probably they added the speech on the trilogy re- …
