BTW, it would be cool to get a photo of that Ninja mobo so I can add it here. Snatched cache I probably take some cache from another board. @Amigaz Are the Commodore cases AT compatible (of course the big desktop ones, not the pizzaboxs) ? How about their quality? Because I saw quite a few Commodore PCs appearing recently on a local auction website and I desperately need AT enclosures for my experiments 😀

I still haven't found time to use my Intel 'Ninja' 486 motherboard. Does anyone know what for is this funny little PSU connector on this board? Also own 2 AN430TX, one with ATI onboard VGA and one without.

Have you tried an IBM newsgroup? IBM BIOSs seem to be quite verbose about issues, and IBM experts will tell you if its lethal.

I have it and I use it with a Diamond Monster MX300. It sounds good, but probably the only game that supports it natively is Final Fantasy VII (and VIII, but this one is a bit weird). The BX is is an evolution of the LX so they are quite similar. The LX was designed for the Pentium II Klamath so it maxes out at 66 MHz FSB. And you could probably find some motherboards based on the LX with SIMMs. When it comes to performance, I don't know of anything the BX couldn't do better or …

Why don't you get the something from the proven ASUS P2B series? With a slocket adapter you should be able to use S370 CPUs and you get 2 or 3 ISA slots depending on the model.
