Midtown Madness 1 has serious glitches with and without dgvoodoo2 (i'm unable to select options because these are unreadable) also direct3d (if supported) is not available (and that option is unreadable...), only software rendering Yes, as far as I remember D3D is not available, but I cannot …

Re: Fullscreen mode in Direct3D8 games on Windows 10

in Windows
I think that if you copy that file in game folder (NOT windows\system32) it can works with all windows 10 versions I think that all feedback into feedback official app about this problem are vanished... (remember that this problem happen also in Windows 8/8.1)

Re: DOSBox ECE (for Windows & Linux)

You need to use output=openglpp or output=surfacepp and scaler=none (i have tried scaler=scan2x and scaler=tv2x but this remove aspect ratio correction for all 320x200 games; this also with scaler=normal2x, normal3x, scan3x, tv3x) output=opengl includes bilinear filter and without integer scaling ( …

Re: DOSBox ECE (for Windows & Linux)

I have tried in DOSBox ECE output=opengl and a resolution of 1600x1000 (also 1280x1000) to scale 320x200 games (i have a 1080p display) and DooM1... is blurred also with scaler=normal5x and scaler=normal6x, but this only with aspect=true if i try aspect=false it works fine (but i think with a wrong …

Re: DOSBox Feature Request Thread

Is it possible to add support for refresh rates higher than 60 hz? DOS games played up to 70hz in some games. Also can DOSBOX take advantage of Gsync/Freesync like WinUAE does? I'm using DOSBox 0.74-3 with a 144hz of refresh rate without problems, but i have disabled all scaling mode in nvidia …

Re: dgVoodoo 2.6.x and related WIP versions

Tested version 2.62.1 with Half-Life 1, there are two mouse pointers, i can't see "loading", and i can't use 60hz... this with software rendering edit: today i'm testing Half-Life 1 with a Radeon 5700 XT... i got a white game, and this with both 2.62.1 and 2.62.3 versions... this happen also with …

Re: GTA1 - crash when changing video mode

With 800x600 GTA1 freeze here too... I don't know if is a problem of DOSBox 0.74 and all latest versions... For that scaling problem i suggest to use a multiple of game resolution (for example: if your game use 640x480 try to use 1280x960 in DOSBox settings; for 320x200 games try with 1600x1000 if …

Re: VIDEO Patch for pixel-perfect scaling (SDL1)

Could any monitor in the DOS era work at 70Hz? Yes. There was no particular refresh rate either, you could run at 67.5Hz or 115Hz and it would be perfect, CRT is an analog device. Then I don't understand how VSync works. I thought all it did was synchronise video memory updates with montitor …
