Seeing that launcher brings back a few good memories.. Like the time I hooked up 4 speakers to my Live! and got to hear true 3D sound for the first time. It literally gave me goosebumps.

This thing is at it's end. After repairing the fan it ran fine for a while, the machine went down for another reason, and now after bringing it back up I have random palette corruption in most video modes. I think a memory chip might be fizzling out 🙁

Usually a limiting factor in the FSB with these motherboards is the on board cache. The operating frequency is that of the main bus, so in most cases you actually have to disable it to hit the really high numbers. That's unless they built in a divider, but I don't think it could work that way.

Depends on the chipset. The P5A has standard AGP/PCI clocks (66/33 MHz) at 83 MHz FSB. Keep the I/O voltage at 3.3v, its the core that you need to play with. Just be real careful, the socket 7 is the only platform I have had melt down on me. If you pull too much current through the board it will be the end of it.
