I tested some games which used to have a working problem with DOSBox 0.72. There are positive and negative answers.I will report my results in the afternoon.But the improvement has a quote of 90% !!!

I suppose that the C drive is your Hard Disk drive.If it is like that, then what about your CD-ROM drive?Mounting only your HD drive is not enough.By the way, do you use any frontend such as D-Fend reloaded? It would make your life much more easier.

To play the games from the CD with DOSBox all you have to do is mount your CD rom drive.Then there schuld be no problem.If you can't do it manually then use a Foentend/GUI for DOSBox such as D-Fend Reloaded or D.O.G. and mount your CD-ROM comfortably. ScummVM recognises both games without any …

You can try turbo. It does slow down the speed of the cpu but this happens only during the usage of it.When you stop it the CPU has it's normal speed. It is very simple to configure and it does work. You may need to set it to Win 95 compatibility mode just like the game you want to play.
