Well, if the engineers aren't huffing glue, a missing jumper will usually mean "off". So if you find something not working, check that first. I actually haven't seen them in a while. I would do it. I think you need to use an ESD safe plastic, I don't know if that will work in 3d printers. Cant hurt to have the designs ready though!

Did a bit of tinkering on my macintosh Plus with a hyperdrive. (it adds an internal 20mb hard drive to a system with ZERO expandability. New aux power supply, new wiring harness. Still instantly bombs with an 0f002 error at boot. I wish I had a good copy of the firmware to compare mine to, to check …

I've long switched to LCD. I got my hands on a nice 17" multisync 1760nx damn thing has a large chunk of dead pixels at the very top, but it will display just about everything I can throw at it. Even with my old 68k macs.
