Quake is easily playing on the 2nd box, the windows machine. And you get the fancy GLQuake too.

Why is that? Are there games the voodoo2 doesn't support but the voodoo1 supports? And then does all the games that the voodoo2 supports work on voodoo1? What about the voodoo4? I'm curious because I just got one for $7 from a recycling place...

Why is that? I thought if the card itself had the notches for both types of voltages, it could run at either? Is it that the card itself is incorrectly notched? EDIT: I see now that the picture is not of the voodoo

If what you mean is that you need to download those drivers to your computer, you can download them on another computer and then burn them to a cd. It is hard to browse any part of the internet with old browsers.

I recently bought a Tyan Tiger 2 (I think that was the model) a dual slot (only 1 in this version of the mobo though) P-II with AGP and 2xISA off of ebay for $20 or so.

Are you sure that your bios HD controller isn't getting in the way at all? I've not used SCSI before, but I've heard of having another controller can sometimes conflict if the bios controller is still enabled.

Right you are! I cleared the PATH variable and verified it wouldn't run. Then I loaded the same CWSDPMI I used in DOSBox and it ran with no error. So it must be some sort of incompatability on dosbox side.

I cannot tell. It's running in DOS without me running CWSDPMI. Something else must be loading one but I cannot seem to find it. I am using 4DOS as a shell. EDIT: You know what I'm running DOS 7.1 I bet you it is loading something...
