I tried that but apparently windows 7 64bit does not have the option to view 32bit control panel items. I don't know how else I would make it appear either because by default it does not.

Well I think I got it working, at least I hear music with Gravis Ultrasound selected in the .cfg file. Yes it's turned on. There's no options to edit the IRQ in game, only the port.

How accurate is Dosbox compared to emulators such as Bsnes?

I was wondering about the accuracy of Dosbox. I think it seems like Bsnes is the gold standard as far as emulation goes so I was wondering how Dosbox compares. I imagine emulating things such as the Soundblaster and Glide are quite complex.

Oh I saw your Rendition thread swaaye, looks nice. Is Indy Car II only accelerated through Rendition? What other games only have support for Rendition? (I only had voodoo)

Well yes I would probably be more interested in Action/Action-Adventure type games (including FPS or Arcade Racing) that utilized 3D because those genres were what I played most on console. Unfortunately I never could get into Sims that much. Those Terminator shoots look very impressive indeed.

That Zarch game looks pretty interesting, very cool. It does seem that a lot of flight/simulation style games had a lot of early use of 3D back then compared to other genres.

Yes Descent is a good example I guess. I forgot it had polygonal enemies. Indy Car II looks nice on the Rendition. Frontier Elite looks interesting as well. Well that's okay, I was just wondering if it was possible for it to work with dosbox or not, or if I was doing something wrong. It would probably be better to focus on getting more games working under glidos.
