Bioshock Infinite is pretty freakin' sweet. I was totally impressed and thought, this is PC gaming 2013. I was able to play the game on max setting and 60+ fps at 1920x1200. No crashes, no glitches. Beautiful, just beautiful.

I've had a bad IDE cable do this to me before, but I'm guessing the only thing you have plugged in right now is the CPU, RAM and video card, right?

Beat Bioshock Infinite last night. Drop dead gorgeous game, I was able to play it with max settings on my rig and rarely dipped below 60fps.

I bought my first PC in January 1996, which happen to be the cheapest Pentium at the time, a 75mhz. Bestbuy was offering Pentium systems from 75 up to 133 IIRC but the P75 was all I could afford and got my foot in the door to PC computing. Good times.

While your replacing the fan, I always take it a step further and cut the stamped fan grill out with a dremel and install a nice shiny one. Not only does this increase airflow but really help cut down on noise.
