Use the Startup program group inside Windows 3.11, not win + something. The latter rarely works.

I find Brutal Doom terribily boring. I don't know excatly why. I wanted so much to love it. Maybe because killing demons becomes too easy with it. Or maybe because it makes too much changes to the gameplay. Also the gore and the glory kills become old real fast. The original doesn't need Brutal Doom …

FWIW, I have a Packard Bell Chrom@ 9750 laptop with Windows 98SE and a Yamaha YMF 754B (the driver packages do mention the "DS-XG" IIRC), and it works perfectly with native DOS.

It's a false positive. DgVoodoo uses a packed executable for dgVoodooCpl.exe. Which is hosted on dege's website. That's why it's blocked. Because one of the quick'n'dirty AV practices is to equal packed executable to viruses. It's stupid.

IIRC, if you want more than 4 partitions, you've got to replace a primary partition with an extended one. It's been ages since I had to do that however. Thank God for GPT layout.
