I guess this would work. Vintage GSM modems (cellphones with computer link) were able to do 1200Baud to 9600 Baud, maybe 14.400Baud. Yes, using the Win7 boot media usually works fine. It usually creates NTFS partitions that are aligned to 4K boundaries. (In contrast to Win XP's boot media, which starts NTFS at sector 63..) In essence, Seal is a GUI for MS-DOS. It needs Protected-Mode, though. So it may not work with Adlipt dongles.
