Another idea.. Use a floppy image instead. Then, use an image software and write that image back to your physical floppy. There are several tools for this. WinImage, rawrite, Floppy Image, et cetera.. But be careful, any previous data on that floppy gets lost in the process..

Cool! 😁 Reminds me of me playing ST:TNG - A Final Unity on a 486DLC with an ULSI math co-pro! It worked astonishingly well for what it was. Just the 3D scenes were a bit too much for it to handle.. And the combat modes in space were unplayable in my opinion.
