Hi there. I surprisely that Settlers 2 supports tandy 3-voice. It's weird because 3 voices are supported from Tandy 1000 computers unless the game talks something else. Hi I knew Thexder is supported MCGA but I never make it to work in MCGA using 486sx and Dosbox until now. The game always selects EGA. MCGA has better colour than PCjr but still PCjr is best for 3 voices. Both MCGA and PCjr are the best because they have more colours than EGA.

I can use WinRar many times without problems and never pay for it. While not exactly illegal, using their software longer than 30 days is against their license (not to speak of the nag screen). It's their fault if their software is still working after limit time. They should make WinRar stop …

Right. I guess I meant the EGA as opposed to MCGA. Fire Hawk's "256 colour" MCGA mode is just its 16-colour Tandy mode rehashed to work on IBM computers with MCGA chipsets since they were NOT backwards compatable with EGA standards. :P I don't think MCGA mode is backwards compatible with Tandy mode …

Why are we need to download a packed file when you can post pictures in this forum? 3 or 4 pictures should be enough. I can't use a download tool from this site. So, a pack of 9 megs of pictures is not worth to download.

So EGA/VGA card also has a composite monitor? I didn't know. I had a PCjr as my first computer. Thexder looks great on the PCjr. Later in 1994, when I bought a 486sx, I was disapointed to see Thexder with less colours.
