Considering the DX-50 is a relatively old chip, I wouldn't be 100% sure overclocking it would cause no harm to it. I'd rather overclock an AMD DX-40 as those are more common and the very first one I tried succeeded in posting at 66Mhz. Edit:I think the very best Socket 3 to FSB overclock is the …

Best is to unmount everything and start testing on a test bench. (there might be a short) Swap items one by one till you find the culprit 😉

I've only used ME on my GA-5AX 4.1 with a TNT2 M64 AGP + Voodoo 2 and it worked perfectly. I really don't know whats causing your issues when using 2k. Have you tried searching the net for info? Perhaps the K6+ forums have some answers. I'd go look but I'm nearly ready for bed right now, tired 🤣!
