Lol :P I find it easier to use google search, just type "Vogons" + "Insert what you want to find here" I know Vogons has a lot of good info, but so do countless other sites. Theres so much info and so many sites that present little or false info, it's really hard to weed out the best out of the good …

How's the humidity there? It's really only when the air is dry that you have to worry much about static. Still though, you should be able to find something to lay down on the carpet... carboard, newspaper, whatever. I'd rather not recommend putting hardware on carpet, or on something very thin that …
