I saw that and it's sooo tempting, but on the other hand I'm soooo cheap. 😜 That guy must have ultrasteady hands. Edit: I didn't do the VSS to VID25mv bridge because I thought it was unneeded with slockets which have voltage selectors. Maybe it's needed in all cases?

My attempt to get a Tualeron working in my P3V4X has failed so I'm trying to track down why. That actually probably explains why it didn't work... I ran it from the command line, no wonder it didn't pop up again... *hides in shame* Some things have been picky with freedos which is why I was looking to have the option to change things up for such rare occurrences.

Maybe when I get a bit more time I'll try a uClibc based gentoo install and see how it runs with the latest Xorg and either fluxbox or XFCE.

Mine also has those odd bugs, my M919 board will only POST if the CPU is configured as an AMD DX4. It also identifies at 160MHz at 50x3, weird stuff eh? I assume the misconfigured CPU type is why the L1 cache mode is grayed out in the BIOS as well. Edit: Did you check/replace the RTC battery?

Sorry for the necro, but is there a specific way you aligned the red stripe on the male and female ends of the cable? Does it line up with pin 1 on the DB and the sound card too? I need to make a new cable and unfortunately I broke my last one trying to salvage the connectors. o_o
