The SB16 by itself does not have wavetable synthesis. XCOM (or UFO as it was known in Europe) will sound practically the same on it as on an AdLib card. @Bruninho When you're running Win 9X under QEMU, it's probably better to emulate AC'97 (ICHx) audio instead of SB16. As a bonus, you'll get (software-mixed) multi-channel audio in Windows that way, which SB16 emulation wouldn't give you. Have you tried this yet?
