Whistle while you work (or don't).....hahahahha Western Digital + a ME-320 5.25" USB2/1394 drive is niiiiceee. I have 2 of 'em. 1 for work/home, and another as a backup of that that I backup after huge changes or monthly.

That's what idling software is for. I am unsure if it performs it for NTVDM applications in NT but for Win32 applications NT does it by default (although 3rd party applications seem to do a bit better). You can also download Dosidle for Dos.

wait a sec... FFVII still sucks on XP! On top of the fact that the sound is screwed up, it crashes in certain places on XP - most noteably on the chocobo races. Eidos in fact says that FFVII shouldn't be run on XP, iirc. What on earth about FFVII could make you like XP!? And those are some cool …

Not possible. Your only real solution is using Connectix Virtual PC in Windows 2000 but the sound will be terrible. Either "upgrade" to XP (not worth it just for playing BUILD engine games anyway) or run a dual-boot with DOS (best solution). *Someone will likely mention CLI2NOP...but I will not. If …

How come my 3dfx blood is really slow on ny comp with winxp and a nvidia geforce2 grapics? (I've realised my blood gets slower later in the game) GF2 MX? What processor speed? That shouldn't matter. The graphics are exported to OpenGlide so Running in Full/Windows wouldn't matter a bit.

Well believe it or not the default theme's in XP for "business" use and for my home use actually hinder productivity and I've been using XP since it entered beta. Yes, hard to believe isn't it? Someone who's actually used it and hates it. Wow.

I have the floppy ver of the game which works fine in Dosbox for me. It also works in 2K fine but in XP you'll have to remove DOSX for it to load.
