Think you are SOL with Steam. Would SteamCMD work? I haven't checked to see if the steam dlls in the game folders require SSE2 or not.

No SSE support in 9x but if the program requires SSE it should still run as long as the processor has SSE support. NT4 I think requires a certain SP level or the SSE driver. Haven't verified that yet.

Check LAN speed before you test internet speed. If you're using 9x and not NT then you'll likely need to tweak MTU settings, etc. Also if it's an older computer you'll be limited by processor, HD speed, etc.

If this is a school computer then they should have an approved software list. If not then they should. If DOSBox isn't on it then DOSBox shouldn't be on the computer.

I'll save you time and effort. DOSBox currently only supports DOS and Windows <95. Use pcem or vmware,hyperv,virtualbox, etc.

Good job!....until the boot setup.exe To run programs in DOSBox just type in the name of the program, so "hello.exe" or "hello.com" or "hello.bat".
