Blood works fine for me at 20+ fps using default settings. And maybe get a new username.

It won't work on 64bit, only on 32bit where the 80bit precision can be deployed.

This is a problem with the fpu precision. Are you using a 32bit build? And please use dosbox 0.74.

I did that and the video is set using the left ctrl - left alt - f5 keys. Re-read what Qbix asked you to do.

Indeed, any realtime app or something that is critical for some buisness process should neither be run in an emulator nor a virtualizer (maybe vmware guys can give you some promises, don't know). Have your company rewrite/new-write the app for xp+.

Again, manuals say it's a difference between 8086/8 and 286+. Right and unless you actually test this you won't know if 8086 is closer to 80286 or 8088 for this feature. Both are well known/can be found on various bug lists (didn't know they were officially documented), but they are irrelevant for this issue. item11 in http://www.logix.cz/michal/doc/i386/chp14-07.htm is the difference causing the bad behaviour, which was verified on 8088 compared to the 80286/dosbox …

which documented that 286's divide overflow interrupt behaves not like 8086/8's as far back as in 1986 Does it say anything more than that the 286 has different IP handling for the exception case?
