Ah thanks for reporting this, had another one like this which was much harder to debug (and led to nothing...). It's broken for quite a while, some bug connected with localDrive::FileUnlink() Didn't experience the crashing when starting, but supposedly it's the same thing.

Maybe search your whole system for a file "dosbox.conf", if it doesn't exist create one by typing "config -writeconf dosbox.conf" inside dosbox. Then search again for that file (no idea where Macs put that file to).

Depending on your system, you can try the dynamic core (x86 only) and, for dosbox 0.65, setting cycles=auto in dosbox.conf

Well the apps forum is for problems/questions about games running under officially released dosbox versions. Not sure if i understood you correctly, but have a look at the [autoexec] section of dosbox.conf, there you can put things like that (including exit to quit dosbox).

Files are enough (>100), but maybe it's missing some files. How did you install the game/configure it? And how did you mount the drives?

He's on OSX (~ is home), but indeed leaving out the " " when mounting might help. If not, please post the exact error message.

They are trying to change the system time. As dosbox uses the host-OS time, this is disallowed, resulting in odd timing of the game.

It would be better if the bug was resolved, rather than putting up some workaround. Especially because the directx-interface will be forced in the next version (as in the CVS currently), so just copying a different sdl.dll won't work.

Did you mount the cdrom with -t cdrom? Maybe you got to specify the cd label additional to that (see the readme for how to do that).
