Just a little follow uo on the "Allow only one running instance" thing. After some more testing, I would say it's the "Allow only one running instance" checkbox that controls the image viewer mode. I didn't even know the game has a D3D mode, are you sure? But anyway, you can always use Glide through a wrapper. I for one use nGlide, which works great. But other wrappers might work too.

Did you copy nGlides glide2x.dll from your Windows or System32 (SysWOW64 on64 bit machines) directory to your Dosbox folder? If not, you will have to do that! I don't know about Screamer Rally but Screamer 2 should run without any problems using ykhwongs latest builds. In the past I had many problems with modal/non-modal windows (for example the main window hotkeys were not correctly disabled when opening a dialog etc. which caused some strange bugs).
