I have a box (rather dusty one) that has about 20 to 30 S3 Trio64V+ cards in it, I believe they work.

Okay, the current card is a buiult in 4mb with another 4mb added to make it 8mb, I was wondering if this stock graphics card (it came out of a windows 2k tower) would be better then my current card is an ati rage pro intergrated.

Okay, I have an old nanya nv999.0 16mb card from an olf gateway, is this better then my current one? My current one is an ati agp pro, I think.

How about editing the autoexec and adding @echo off Very basic and simple. Just use hte edit autoexec and then add at the top @echo off

Oh, I also forgot to mention that in the windows device manager it lists an error with the card. I forgot what it said, I will check soon.

I also noticed that when doing the left, right, center test It only stayed stereo it didn't change from left to right in the test.

Okay, I have a SB16 and I set it up for my windows 98 build and it worked great, so to test it I loaded the sb16 demo to test the channels and so on. Okay, well guys I have yet another project to resurrect. My old windows 2k tower from my childhood. it has a pII with windows 95 and a 16mb video card with on-board "chrystal" sound card.

Okay, I have a file needs user input (1 through 5) how do I restrict the user input. Say if someone typed "r" or another character other than 1 through 5 how would I block that input because when I input an unexpected character is crashes the program instead of ingoing it.
