That's like saying what was the point to Carmageddon -hires and Carmageddon glide. Obviously it was finished product. Point is that I bet it didn't look so great in beta stages.

< Jealous. My first major overclock was a celery 366@550 on a Abit BE6-II. I Still have the parts but it died back in the day and can't revive it 🙁 (yes I tried recapping the boards) Twas a great rig while it lasted though.

Should not be an issue. You need the voodooc.exe patch for voodoo 2's. I've played carma 1 through windows dos for hours on a V2/V3/V5 flawlessly. Wish I could say the same on Carma SP. The patch is finicky in windows and crashes after a couple races usually.

The beeps still worry me. Make sure to get back to us after swapping the CPU. Maybe you can induce a error to see if the POST error codes are working. Removing the CPU and booting should cause a continuous beep...etc. Alternatively you can remove the motherboard from the case to see if it is a stand …
