isn't 64mb too much for dosbox?? reduce it to like 16mb and 8000 cycles, and you should get there

i got a 486-dX4 100 here, which i use to play the old dos games. It's loaded with a Sound Blaster 16 PnP (3D sound enhancement) and it's running perfect.

Hi, I just got the same problem, and in my case, i couldn't even quit the game, i had to kill dosbox... happened on 0.61 too.

On that case, pressing Escape didn't work, and since this game runs directly from the cd, i cound delete the intro files. Anything else I could try??

i couldn't get ultima VII to work on 0.61 either, it says i have to diseable the dos memory extender. is there any way i can do this??

Guys, today i tried to play duke3d on 0.61 and the following came to me: "This game cannot be run under DOS mode". I deleted it and installed it again, and the same message keep coming on screen. Any ideas??

I tried Ultima VIII in 0.61 and it ran just perfect... Sounds are ok, both midi and digital, and the speed is as smooth as it is on my 486 😀
