When I play dos fps games via dosbox like Duke Nukem 3D and Doom I dont do very well but when I run them them via ports like Duke Nukem 3D Megaton or Chocolate Doom I do much much better on the same skill level could this be down to input lag? How could I fix this problem as there are a lot of …

It's hard for me to tell as I don't have any first hand experience of ips panels and the reviews often state a slow response time and image blurring. I am worried to buy one and not be able to return it should I find it a problem.

The Twin Peaks set has made me want to re-watch all seasons of the X-files. I stopped watching some time near the end season when it first aired. Guess I'll wait for the eventual Blu-ray release.

I think what I want isn't for sale anymore, all 16:10 screens are IPS now so have poor response time. Thanks for help guys.

Thanks for suggestions but I live in the UK and those monitors are discontinued and I don't trust second hand as my brothers monitor died just out of warranty recently.

I want to buy a new screen for playing current games (mostly fps and Warcraft in 1920x1200 or 1920x1080), older adventure games using dosbox (320x200 resolution) and fps games from 3d windows 95-XP err (1600x1200 resolution). So I think I need a 1920x1200 screen, but I am having trouble finding one …

I don't watch non-anamorphic DVDs anymore unless its the only release (The Abyss). So I don't see me watching LaserDisc, there kinda pointless to me now. Having said that the quality of packaging and artwork on many LaserDiscs is astounding. There are rumblings of new Star Wars 1.0 releases coming …

I read PC Gamer July 2000 cover disc had some free full dos classic games on it. Would downloading the cover disc from archive.org be pirating?

Never mind I found with 64 bit windows I had to put the file into windows\syswow64 folder now it works.

Does anyone know how I can get this port of doom to output music to my sc-55. With dosbox I can change the device to not be the built in software synth but with this I cant see an option. Windows 7 doesn't seem to have an option to let me change midi device to my usb to midi adapter. Please move …

Borderlands 2 first play though as the commando Axton. I found this very similar to the first game. I started to get little bored towards the end as the game is so repetitive and the story isn't great. I am not in a hurry to check out the upcoming prequel anymore.

I enjoyed Rage a lot when it was released playing on a single 560Ti it did have some texture pop in but it wasn't to bad.

BioShock Infinite on medium skill, I really enjoyed it. The game looks amazing and plays almost as good as it looks (once I found out how to turn the aim assists off). On the down side I wasn't crazy about last battle and the ending.

Call of Duty: World at War single player campaign on regular skill. Possible my least favorite in the franchise. The games difficult is very inconstant, often I feel the game is almost playing itself and at other times I'll die a few times in close secession. Also for a 2008 game it isn't very nice …

This is very sad news. I wasn't much of a fan of his style of comedy, but I liked his dramatic performances in Insomnia and One Hour Photo a lot.
