Are those important-looking caps even connected to anything? They might be powered by the PCI-Express slot and actually get power. But it's not physically possible for a pci-express slot to in any way what so ever connect to the onboard audio, or any other pci-express sound card in the system. …

Also don't forget, the FX-60 has unlocked core multiplier for overclocking. The opteron, does not.
