Epic titles were aimed at GUS soundcards more then soundblaster, which may be why it sounds muffled. I've never really noticed it but then I had a SB16 back when I played these games new and on terrible speakers so anything sounds better these days

Not sure I trust SCSI HDD's for my daily driver, they must be getting on by now especially if they old server drives. But you get full marks for awesomeness. SMP, SLI, SCSI these are all things that make me warm and fuzzy

Was about to say OP said he was duel booting with NT4 which will love all the ram it can get and Win95 wont mind the extra ram as well. majority of games don't care if you have massive amount of ram so wouldn't worry about it until it becomes an issue (if it ever does)

Not sure, from the bit of the manual you quoted above it sounds like it though. Another option which was common back then is to use a soundcard with an IDE channel, It'll only support CD drives though, not HDD's

Needs a grey CD drive ;) Other then that nice system. Does it have a HDD at all or just the CF card? If its just CF then you could get an adaptor like this one and simply swap CF cards depending on what you want and skip the need of a boot loader all together. http://www.vesalia.de/pic/ …

If you already have it, just try it out! P2 makes a great late dos gamming PC, and if your lucky the earlier ones wont be affected by speed issues but only testing will confirm.

Think of it this way We see pics here of computers that have spent their lives in industrial workshops or whatever and absolutely filthy but still work fine. Few hours in fresh air isn't going to hurt, probably lass dusty then some peoples homes!
