I'd rate a 2 CPU system over a SLI system for cool points. Mainly cause its less common I'd rate a SLI system over 2 CPU's for usefulness, as games don't take advantage of multiple CPU's If it was me, I would build the SMP system

486's have 2 main hard drive limits. 500MB and 8GB. We already know your good to go above 500MB. So I would look at drives under 8GB. If you don't want to risk your DX4 chip and cant find if the motherboard 3.3v DX2 66 is a great choice. It was the minimum system requirement for games for years
