Nice bug report. Short, concise, and with all the required information. CM2 is difficult. I think I remember a lot of threads here about it. Did you search for CM2? Did you check the compatibility database? Also, try a different core setting in dosbox.conf.

For the Sound Blaster - which settings did you choose for IO, IRQ, DMA(s)? Do they match the settings used by DOSBox? The DOSBox defaults are: sbbase=220 irq=7 dma=1 hdma=5

Bugs that can be reproduced are always welcome 😀 Not sure if it will help, but try downloading the latest experimental version of DOSBox: http://builds.tharos-online.de/index.php?dir= … date&order=desc If you are lucky, something might have changed since 0.72 that fixes this bug.

Our objection is not about the frontend. It is about you using an old version. Use 0.72 and see if the problem still exist.

Agreed. Not a good idea. Unless you have some old images that you desperately needs to restore, use a newer program.

drivers are not illegal right? Grey area I would say. I suspect, that if you own the hardware then you are usually given the right to download updated drivers.
