I haven't tried to detach the dongle when dosbox was running and re-connect it ... I'm going to try tomorrow... it is strange because if I quit dosbox and restart db, the dongle works, but just for the first call to the dongle... thank you again...

sorry to bug you again... the parallel port works just once at the first time when the dosbox is opened... next call inside the box fails to contact the dongle... what could it be? thank you again...
