I think the CT1350B sounds almost a bit softer (filtered), but it's slight and they're both pretty good. Honestly, getting a set of repro-CMS chips for a CT1350B is probably the easiest and most cost effective way many today will get to having a Game Blaster. Any idea if anyone plans to sell repros …

Yeah, that and I think they were released just before National Semiconductor sold Cyrix to VIA and the MII was shelved in favour of C3. Still, I wish I could find a 2.2v chip - just to see if the die shrink is any faster clock-for-clock.

If you want to keep the machine period accurate of what was affordable, you might want a Voodoo2/Voodoo Banshee/Voodoo3 2000 PCI, NVidia Riva or ATI Rage 128 based card instead of the GF2 MX, which were more 2001-02. I just finished doing a slew more Benchmarks. I wasn't able to get the Cyrix chips running (the MII 366 wouldn't post and the board doesn't have a 1.5x multiplyer for the PR200+), but I did get my K6 266, K6-2 333 and K6-2 500 chips running to simulate the bulk of the K6-2 line in other benchmarks. …

You'd see some improvement but don't expect miracles. You'd see a much bigger improvement if you put in a discrete graphics card or a Coppermine Pentium III. Though if you already had the 466 chip on hand or it's cheap/free and you're wondering if you should put it in? Yes, the more the merrier.
