A long time ago I benchmarked a P3-S 1.4GHz/512KB vs a Willamette 2.0GHz with PC133 SDRAM. They were about equal at those clock speeds. PC133 was crippling for the P4 though ... I'm using both the ways of getting Tualatin support in 440BX. I have a Powerleap and the pinmodded Tualatin. Both works fine. I prefer the pinmodded though as the Powerleap fan is a bit noisy. Never seen any instability. Same experience here with a pinmodded Tually in i440BX, surprisingly stable …
