For some reason when I try to run ctcu.exe I always get "ctcu cannot be run under win95 or win3.1 dos box" even after I ran setver ctcu.exe 6.22 and rebooted. -Tristan

Worked like a charm. I'm trying to change midi address to 300 from 330 but at the end of the install it shows me 330 and I am unable to change it. -Tristan

When I run sbbasic.exe in dos it says "cannot run in microsoft windows 95". I boot straight into dos. I am running windows 98se. -Tristan

Ah got it. I went 6 channel direct, (green, black, orange). Then I plugged MT-32 into line in on the back of SB X-Fi, then selected M-audio audiophile card for Music card in ScummVM, works like a charm. -Tristan

I got the speech and sound working but no music. So I'm using SB X-Fi on optical behind my Z-5500 decoder. Can I plug the outputs of my MT-32 into my Line-in in the SB X-Fi and play it out? If so, how would I do that? -Tristan

I see. However, a Roland SCC-1 is just a SC-55 but in a ISA slot no? However, I read that the SCC-1 is only 8-bit while a SC-55 is 16-bit. So the sound quality on a SC-55 would be better than a SCC-1? -Tristan

The CM-64 has more sound effects than the MT-32. I have heard that when playing some games on a CM-64 you hear more sounds. Is this really true and if so, which games? As for old pc gaming, is there a huge difference between a CM-64 and a SC-88?

I'm thinking they are the same thing because they can both do 64 voices. Do they use the same maps? I wanted to see what you guys thought. -Tristan
