Personally, I think this sounds like a giant load of BS, but if it turns out to be the opposite, I hope the company loses big money to AMD when every enthusiast jumps ship. I would recommend using the aux power connector if you are running fast pentium 3's. It certainly cant hurt. That being said it is a rather special 3.3v connector. Goggle doesn't seem to have a picture of it on an atx power supply, but it looks like this: http://www.power-on.com/images/product/ …

When I tried to boot with the single 450/512kb and then the 450/2MB ES, the board wouldn't even post. I had only one terminator board, so I'm not really sure if my XG-DLS just didn't like it or if there was some issue with the terminator itself, but my A-Trend Slot-1/2 board booted with them fine.

The fans were very noisy on my V5-5500 as well. I took them off, gave the heatsinks and fan blades a good clean, peeled the sticker off the back of the fan and lifted the small cap covering the bearing. Oiled the bearings with some sewing machine oil, and the fans quietened down a lot. Stil la …

Okay, so I've got a Voodoo5 5500 here for my "Voodoo Rocket" build. There's just one problem. The bearings on these fans are completely shot. What would be the best course of action for replacement cooling? The stock heatsinks are pretty much crap, so I'm thinking possibly some beefy northbridge …
