1. this forum is for original dosbox support ONLY 2. we do sometimes help with other version 3. please label your other version right away to cut some corners

Depending on the packaging mechanism it might be easier to just let it install munt-qt instead of compiling dosbox svn + munt integration

Install munt driver with qt. That should work with everything that has midi (dosbox, scummvm etc). But I don't know the details.

The thing is that the SDL2 devs cut out CD Rom support on purpose, so they are not really interested in this patch...

Maybe copy protection? Try with the real CD and if that works, re-image with a different program or chose some other way of handling bad sectors

Yup, no abandonware discussions 😉 But one thing, some games are not supposed to be shut down, only with the shut down of the computer.

Dosbox questions need to go to the Dosbox forums ;) The problem with Linux/OS X and multiple real CDs is the way the CDs are mounted by Linux and OSX.
