First of all the real rotten things are the patent and trademark systems. Once you registered something there and you notice someone copying it, you owe it to your shareholders to go after them. It's a dirty war and none of the phone makers comes out of it with a shining armor.

I think Crusader: No Remorse/Regret (whichever came first - I can never remember) and Ultima 8 have some kind of memory limitation. Could be more than 16MB though (64?)

Hard to say, the latter are mostly more complex to begin with 😉 But if they were reduced to graphics, I'd think that 8bit probably is faster

I think you need to untangle everything a bit ;) Psvoodoo works for me in combination with Wine and Ultima 9 in glide mode. The question is what are you running TR on? Glidos or Dosbox etc. Maybe everything is clear to Glidos (a bit unfortunate usernsme when speaking about Glidos and Glidos ;)) but …

Updated S3 drivers to version 1.70.04 (same name for the zip, though), moved Quicktime up to the other drivers and bolded some key words. Need to do the CD Audio driver thing at some point 😀

yes, the driver AND actually mentioning the Quicktime problem with Hybrid Windows 3.x/Mac games... On it... Edit: I actually *DO* mention the quicktime thing already 😀 Will move it up to make it more prominent.
