Yes, it's pedantic but it really is something different, mt32 support and mt32. Especially if you are on OS X since on that mt32 support is not as old as on Windows (perhaps only since 0.73). And if you have that in mind such a confusion is too good to let it pass...

I was quite an advocate for fluidsynth until I looked at the hooror of needed libs to get fluidsynth running. This horror of libs would bloat an OS X release of Dosbox a lot, if it even were doable to build a static Dosbox with all the libs fluidsynth drags in. And wd is right about the other …

I mean, does it really matter all that much that it will save you from some momentary fiddling with Glide wrappers? Yes, it does. Especially with glide wrappers giving different results a built-in glide is much more useful. And eventully it would help on running Windows 95 with glid eon Dosbox... …

You could mess with the configure script and then you could try to throw in some compatibilty header sdl 1.3 has that allows 1.2x apps to run under 1.3... But when you go the compatibility header way it probably, in wd words, won't work 😉

What's a good utility for making them from files you have, and for editing stuff like boot sectors, search google, there is some good program for floppy images, should be easy to find. and how do I boot from one in DOSBox? looked at the manual yet?[/quote] by reading the manual...

you'd need to find out how the Wii addresses the drives... most likely the usb drive is not addressed as "usb".
