If that happens, the only way to get it working again is to manually cleanup some OEM?.INF files from WINDOWS directory. Now you tell me, after I've had to fix that myself yesterday :) Strange, I couldn't get that driver to run in neither plain dosbox nor in your patched one, but I'll try again …

well, even though Qbix added this functionality, there actually was a nice little utility that did this as well (not the first emntioned shareware one). At http://www.geocities.com/sjwoolham/ you can get a Dosver program (among many others that might be nice to test with Dosbox) 😀

Hi SB-X, whenever you are using a new version of DosBox it is good to let DosBox write a new conf file. OTherwise you might end up with no longer working entries AND not up to date options in it. See you in #exult, soon 😀

AFAIK everytime you select a different midi device as default in the audio settings of the control panel the enumeration gets shuffled. It's probably a trial and error until you have the munt device on both PCs in the same "slot".

you might have configured different IRQs in VDMS and Dosbox. If there is an install or setup program that comes with the game try that one again, or see if that can be set in the game.

but on ebay you can probably find a cheap version, or look at some old software bins. I found a CD-Rom with WfW 3.11 on it in a "Caritas" shop for 1 Euro.
