Well the light goes on at post, then the boot disk is recognised. I can actually boot on very simple boot disks. But none of my DOS installation disks can go to the end...

Arf 😁 Not a SK096 or 101 ? Ok then I'll try and see. I'd like to have WB+SCSI, but if I have to choose, I'll probably go SCSI ... given feiopea tests, doom is not very WB sensitive.

Did the try flashing the bios on your 2940U2W controller? Maybe your Trio64V2 card can be repaired by recapping? Nope, didn't try anything on the 2940. Same thing, i'll try it on the PII. It won't be too troublesome to create a software that fakes IPv4 on the other side, and actually repacks the payload in a IPV6 pack, and same module do the opposite translation on the other side.
