I highly doubt that would cause any issues. You haven't told us yet whether Any Dos 3DFX games work yet? like Tomb Raider for example.

The Bios size on the downloads from The Retro Web are 1M bit or 128k bytes, so as the photo shows a Winbond chip, it's likely going to be a w27c010, w27e010, or w29ee010. My opinion on the sticker is just pull it off and be done with it. That's just my opinion though.

You wouldn't have a DVI port on it if there was no Digital video out. is there no LCD monitor You can try? I Assume You've tried 1920x1080 60hz as that would be the most compatible. Either it's a compatibility problem or the Digital video out on the video card is dead.

Maybe try it with a LCD monitor, not a tv, could be a compatibility issue. When You say You tried with a DVI to VGA converter, are You talking about an actual powered converter box or just one of those dvi to vga adaptors that used to come with the video cards, as they just route the 4 pin analog …

Make sure the files are not set to read only. This most often happens when copying from a cd to hdd. The proper way to run Dos games is from a Dos boot, not msdos mode or reboot to Dos, but that can be very time consuming and complicated to setup.

I assume from the 3dmark score You are running this on something period correct? Does You monitor support higher than 60hz? You can force the refresh rates to 60hz in the control panel. Voodoo 1 cards sometimes don't work on higher mhz systems. Dos 3dfx version of Tomb Raider is a good test as it …

With a KT7-RAID motherboard I ran a Voodoo 1 successfully with a Duron up to 600mhz. However with modded bios and a Barton Athlon cpu 500 mhz was the limit. DX versions cannot be downgraded by any install. Just run Dxdiag and You will see what version is installed. There is a program that can remove DX though, get from here https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/dire … eradicator.html

You need an EEPROM burner. I would at least try clearing the cmos before trying again. beeps means the bios is doing something and You should be able to look up what the beeps mean, unless You meant no beeps as well now.
