the Netvistas made from 2000 - 2002 all had electrolytics in them for the cpu VRM circuitry, and some tantulums in random places throughout the board. and Lenovo (the fake IBM, 🤣) never made a single netvista...and I thought lenovo took over in 2004.

they had cards like that to output video fx from the computer to the VHS tapes, but I don't think thats what its for... sound and vga in and composite video out? Arcade machine seems more likely.

Raymangold1992? I didn't know you were on here... but anyway I think one of those thinkcenters is overkill for win 98... I still use one with a 128MB vid card 2GB of RAM and a 3GHz P4 HT for my main rig!

probably would perform like a mid - high end 486DX.... or worse. they were not as well known as the pentium when it came to speed, 🤣.

hmm... an IDT/ centaur technologies Winchip... hard to find but not exactly rare. I'd give it a go just to see, and whaterver works better keep in it.

whoops, my bad! but I thought the GX1s were thicker, but the GN+ slimlines had ISA, so a riser card from a GN+ would work.

I do have a UPS, my main rig and my Pentium 133 were plugged into it. the 486 was plugged directly into the wall because I was not planning to leave it plugged in, usually I plug my stuff into surge protecters, 🤣.

if it fits in the slot, and the slots on the card line up with the case, try it and see whaT happens. only 1 way to find out. yes it should work between models, but i would avoid cutting it...

if its for old slow dos games, go with the P166n or the cyrix. if its for newer faster DOS games, use the P200. and DX 5 is plenty for what you`ll do with it. I'd go with an older board but if its all you got then it will work just fine.
