They've been dead for a number of years now IMHO. The old Radio Shack that me and my father used to like is indeed long gone, and nothing can bring it back; the current owners might as well change the name and hope that it renews interest somehow 😐

WHAT?!! NO WAYYYY!! 😳 And here I honestly believed that Lance was dead and buried for good. Shame on me for thinking like that 😐 Now to wait for the reboot. Hopefully I'll be just as good as the original 😀 (And yes, I still want Lance Boyle to run for president 😜 )

Pentium 100, Trident 9440 2MB, Aztech sound card: Descent & Quake had problems above 320x240 (very choppy, laggy controls, dropped pixels). Warcraft 2 had "frozen sprite" syndrome at 640x480. Yup, when a CD or DVD goes kaput, it's very sudden and very loud. I've experienced 3 of these so far: 2 data CD-Rs and 1 DVD movie (the CD-Rs I can understand; the DVD movie was a surprise though). Interesting. I have an old WD 250Gb IDE hard drive that makes some rather weird sounds as well. Too bad I can't make a video of it "rattling" itself to death 😦
